The image above is the blank, wallpaper sized notebook background I designed for the "Book of Deviant" wallpapers. I've uploaded it here for my Book of Deviant contest! The rules for the contest are fairly simple:

1> Take this background and save it to your computer.

2> Decorate it "scrap book" style using images, text, sticky notes, etc. You can use anything on your wallpaper that you like, but everything you use HAS to come from other deviants, either with permission or from the stock gallery, or from other pages on the Internet. You cannot use any of your own deviations for the wallpaper.

3> When you're finished with the design, save it and upload it to Deviant Art with "book of deviant" somewhere in the title. In your description you have to include working links to everyone you've taken a piece for your scrapbook from - deviants, websites, etc. and a link to the contest (I'll be posting the contest in my journal.)

4> Once it's uploaded, note me so that I can see your work and add your link to my contest journal entry.

I'm gonna do this. Can I do stuff like print it out, stick stuff to it, scan it, mutilate it, print it out again, stick more stuff on it, draw on it, scan it again etc?

Heh. It's do-able if you know how, but any way you can or want to do it works for the project. You can do whatever you want as long as you credit the sources and use the background.
