I'm a World War II re-enactor (among other time periods), and at events I'm frequently asked by the public and other re-enactors how I manage to get my hair to look like this.

So here's a hair "do"torial.

I hope it's easy to follow. I tried to include as much detail as possible along with the illustrations - but it's really easier to show someone how to do it rather than explain it.

Hrmm.. I think my hair is a bit long to do this. I mean I can't just wrap part and tuck in the rest. Its to my waist. :)

No, you can still do it with hair that long - you need to make a very skinny rat because most of the volume will come from your actual hair.

If it was ever in question whether hair is an art form, this just ended the argument. :lmao: Great job, very well done (set up wise), and if I'm ever bored enough, I'll be sure to try it. In the meantime :+favlove:
