well, it depends on the tone of voice...
If he sounds sympathetic, I would just come outside.

If he's serious and demanding, I'd ask him why before doing anything at all. If it's anything having to do with questioning, arrest, or search, I would ask for a warrant. It's not that I have anything to hide, it's just that I am extremely passionate about my rights.

Unless it's a question about someone else, in which it doesn't apply to my OWN rights, property, etc., (such as a question about a neighbor) then I would answer questions.
